Arizona Becomes First U.S. State To Launch Regulatory Sandbox For Fintech

Thank you to all who attended the 2018 AZ Tech Innovation Summit and shared in the excitement as Governor Ducey signed House Bill 2434, dubbed the “regulatory sandbox”, into law.  With the enactment of this law, Arizona became the first state in the nation to enact legislation removing costly and time consuming barriers to entry for finch companies looking to test innovative new products and services in Arizona.

Thank you to Governor Ducey as well as the co-architects of the bill including State Rep. Jeff Weninger, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich and Glenn Hamer, John Ragan and Courtney McKinstry of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce.
